Privacy statement 

As we respect the privacy of the visitors of the Tauw Group websites we will ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. The manner in which the personal data is processed meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

 

Data processing and their purposes

In most cases we will obtain the personal data from you, when entering and executing an agreement, for example, or when you complete our website contact form, apply for one of our vacancies or contact us via email. The data you submit is used for the processing of your request or question.

In addition, and within the context of carrying out an assignment, we could also obtain your personal data in other ways, from third parties, for example, from (public) registries or from public sources and websites.

We will retain your personal data no longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and recorded. If a statutory data retention period applies, we will observe that term. 

 

Visitor data on the website

We keep track of the general visitor data of our website. Within this context, it could be that certain data are registered and used for statistical analyses of visitor and click behaviour on the website. It could concern the following data; the IP address of the device you use when visiting our website, the times of the visits to the website and the data that the browser you use, as a visitor, provides. These data are also used for the optimisation of our website. We will try to anonymise the data received from you as much as possible. Your data will not be shared with third parties.

 

Newsletter

For those who are interested, we offer a newsletter in which we inform them of our activities and various related matters. Once you have given us your explicit permission, you will be added to the mailing list. At the bottom of each digital newsletter you can find a link to unsubscribe. Third parties to whom we provide your personal data are, themselves, responsible for the processing of this data and for complying with the GDPR. We will conclude a processor agreement that meets the GDPR requirements if a third party processes your personal data as a processor on behalf of Tauw Group.

 

Applications and recruitment

In order to process your application or your registration for one of our recruitment activities, we will ask for your personal details. The information you share with us via email, the application form on the websites and in (telephone) conversations, will be retained for a maximum of four weeks after the completion of the application procedure. If we, again, wish to contact you in the future regarding a vacancy, we will ask for your permission to retain your personal data for a longer period in time. This period is equal to one year maximum. After this year the data will be deleted.

 

Google Analytics  

Via our website, the American company Google places a cookie as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to keep track of and receive reports on the use of visitors of our website and to measure the effectiveness of our AdWords ads placed via Google. If you require more information, please consult both the Google privacy policy and the Google Analytics privacy policy on which we have no influence.

 

Social networks

On our website we have included buttons to promote web pages (“like”) or share (“tweet”) on social networks. The buttons function through small bits of coding originating from the relevant social networks.

This coding enables the placement of cookies on which we have no influence. If you require more information on the processing of your personal data by social networks, we refer you to the privacy statement of the relevant social network.

 

Access, security and correction of personal data

If you have a relationship with our company, you can submit a written request to view your personal data. You have the right to have your personal data changed or removed. In order to prevent misuse we could ask for adequate identification. If it concerns access to personal data linked to a cookie, you must submit a copy of the relevant cookie. You can find these in your browser settings.

Tauw Group is ISO 270001 certified and has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to counteract misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification of your personal data.
